Ceremony & Reception

Ceremony at Stoke St Michael’s Church

We will be married at Stoke St. Michael’s Church in Coventry on Saturday 18th July 2009. The ceremony will begin at midday. Please arrive early for photo opportunities.

Please use the church car park, down a small lane next to the row of houses to the left of the church.

Directions from the South

1. From junction 15 of the M40, take the A46 towards Coventry
2. Continue for 11 miles until you reach the A4114 ringroad
3. Go underneath the ringroad and filter on to the A4082 London Road, signposted Willenhall
4. At the next roundabout (by Asda), take the third exit A4082 Allard Way, signposted Binley
5. At the traffic lights junction with the Binley main road, go straight over onto the Hipswell Highway
6. Go straight at the mini-roundabout and take the second left into Longfellow Road
7. At the end of the road, go straight over the roundabout onto Walsgrave Road. St Michael’s Church will be on your right, opposite the Rose & Crown pub
8. The church car park is just past the first set of houses on the right, signposted “Children’s World playgroup”

Directions from the North

1. From junction 2 of the M6, take the A4600 towards Coventry city centre and Stoke
2. Continue for about three miles, through three roundabouts
3. At the Walsgrave pub fork left
4. At the next roundabout, turn right (third exit) onto Walsgrave Road
5. St Michael’s Church will be on your right, opposite the Rose & Crown pub
6. The church car park is just past the first set of houses on the right, signposted “Children’s World playgroup”

Travelling by train

The nearest railway station is Coventry. Travel from Coventry station to the church will cost about £7 by taxi, or £1.20 on the number 27 bus (you’ll need the exact money).

Reception at Sherbourne Park

There will be a reception at Sherbourne Park, near Warwick, starting at about 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

Directions from the Church

Sherbourne Park is situated half a mile from junction 15 of the M40.

1. Turn left out of the church car park (so the church is on your left and the pub is on your right)
2. Go straight over the roundabout into Longfellow Road
3. At the end of Longfellow Road, turn right onto the Hipswell Highway
4. Go straight over the traffic lights onto the A4082 Allard Way
5. At the next roundabout, take the second exit, keeping on the A4082 London Road
6. At the next junction, take the slip road left up onto the A444 (signposted A46 and M40)
7. Continue for 11 miles until you reach the junction with the M40
8. Go straight over the M40, taking the third exit onto the A429 towards Barford and Sherbourne
9. After 1 mile turn right into the gated entrance to Sherbourne Park (opposite the turning on the left to Barford)
10. Follow signs to the car park

The nearest railway station is Warwick Parkway, about 3 miles away, with direct links to London and Birmingham. Leamington Spa railway station is 6 miles away with direct services to Reading, London, Birmingham and Manchester.
